ABOUT

Founded by clinical hypnotherapist Lucy Harris, Re:Mind is an online course designed to help you rediscover your own potential for happiness.

Specialising in solution focused hypnotherapy, a form of psychotherapy that uses the latest advances in neuroscience research to better understand our brains and our behaviour, Lucy is dedicated to helping people feel good about their lives and take control of their thoughts.

Solution focused hypnotherapy aims to help retrain our thinking and unlike a lot of other therapies, it focuses on the solution, rather than the problem. This can make it a positive, and often even fun experience – one that’s firmly rooted in science too!

What is Re:Mind?

Re:Mind is a 12 week online course that involves videos, hypnotherapy audios and worksheets, designed to help you rewire your mind and the way in which you think.

What can I expect from it?

When you first sign up, you'll be invited to think about your goals and what you'd like to gain from the programme. You'll then be guided through an introductory video explaining how the brain works, why we think the way we do, and some of the first practical tools to help you better manage anxiety, stress and overthinking.

Each week, you'll log in, track your progress and explore different aspects of neuroscience, behaviour and wellbeing. Through videos, guided relaxation audios and practical exercises, you'll learn tools that can help you feel calmer, more resilient and better able to cope with life's challenges.

Each week takes around 45–60 minutes to complete and can be worked through at your own pace, whenever it suits you.

Why Re:Mind?

While working as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, I saw first-hand how transformative it can be when people better understand their minds and learn practical ways to manage stress, anxiety and overthinking.

I also recognised that not everyone can access regular therapy due to cost, location or time constraints. Re was created to make these ideas and tools available in a more affordable and flexible format, helping people take a proactive approach to their wellbeing and build skills that support their mental health long-term.

LUCY
HARRIS

My interest in hypnotherapy began with my own experience about 10 years ago now. Having moved back to the UK from Australia, I found myself feeling a little bit lost. I was in a new city, working in a job that didn't inspire me and I found myself questioning where I was going in my life, so I decided to go and see a hypnotherapist.

I’d always thought I was a fairly confident and driven person, but hypnotherapy opened up my eyes and helped me confront how anxious I had actually become. I was so pleased with the results that I decided to train at The Clifton Practice. I gained my Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, and Diploma of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and have been building my private practice ever since!

Today, my focus sees me working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression and self-confidence issues. I aim to help people learn to treat themselves with compassion and kindness and find a way towards a place of self-love.

Away from my practice, I’m a very creative person, always on the go, learning a new skill or hobby. I’m most at peace when I’m out in the countryside and as an amateur photographer I can often be found taking photos of nature.

To find out more about what I do, both as a therapist, and my hobbies, check out my website and social media links below.
